Forensic Training Institute

Through partnerships with agencies and organizations throughout the Los Angeles area, the Forensic Training Institute provides students in our L.A. campus Forensic Psychology program the opportunity to train law enforcement personnel, governmental staff, and representatives of nonprofit organizations in areas ranging from gang intervention to mental illness recognition.

ConCISE Center

The consulting arm of the Business Psychology Department at our L.A. campus, the ConCISE center works with small businesses to develop leadership programs, manage change, and undertake strategic planning initiatives.

Counseling Centers

Students at our Los Angeles and Irvine campuses may apply to complete their required clinical training hours at our Chicago School Counseling Centers—two of Southern California’s largest and most well-respected community counseling centers.

 

Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute for Mental Health Education

Naomi Ruth Cohen showed her compassion by working in her community for the benefit of the disadvantaged. The Naomi Ruth Cohen Institute (NRCI) was established in the memory of this remarkable woman. Part of the clinical counseling department at the Chicago Campus, NRCI is dedicated to eradicating the stigma associated with mental illness. NRCI offers conferences, sponsor activities, and provides networking opportunities for students to meet with professionals across the U.S.

 

Center for Multicultural and Diversity Studies

Diversity is a fundamental component of The Chicago School’s mission. The Center for Multicultural and Diversity Studies (CMDS) was chartered to help realize this mission and serves as a resource to our community and to professionals across the country, connecting them to topics of diversity and social justice. CMDS also serves as safe place to talk about their own culture and develop events centered on bringing attention to relevant issues.

Focusing on expanding the reach of psychology into underserved communities all around the world, The Chicago School maintains a Center for International Studies at each campus, helping to create learning experiences that are rooted in serving the global community.

Office of Placement & Training

A unique feature of The Chicago School is that all students receive support from the Office of Placement & Training (OPT). OPT is responsible for overseeing all aspects of The Chicago School student practicum and internship training, including orienting the members of the learning community to the training site search, application, interviewing, and acceptance processes.

 

Library and Test Kit Center

国产偷拍视频Both on campus and online, the library is a resource hub for students throughout their enrollment at The Chicago School. In addition, our library houses a test kit center that provides a wide range of psychological assessment materials for students in support of their chosen program.
